How many people should decide to be involved?

10 family and friends involved would create an hour long podcast. We recommend between 5 - 10 friends and family of all ages. Children and dogs can take part too!

Some members of my family might not want to be contacted by a stranger...

We totally understand that nobody likes a cold communication. The best way to allieviate this is to give them a heads up from you that we will be in touch. Our team members are friendly, and are always wanting to set people at ease. If an individual wants to run their dedication via you, or they don't want their voice on the recording, we will work around you.

Will you call my friends? Or email?

Whichever you prefer! We find the best response is over Whatsapp or iMessage as this means everyone can easily record a voice note of their dedication in seconds. We work with you to find the way you think everyone would prefer to be reached.

How long is the podcast?

We recommend between 30 minutes and an hour. Thats between 5-10 dedications per podcast.

Can I keep the podcast forever?

We send you an online link to share with family and friends to listen on the go, but also transfer a downloaded copy for you to keep on your hard drive forever.

Do I get to check it before it gets sent to my loved one?

Yes! Your YGTP producer will send to you on a day before your chosen deadline. You can listen through, review and make one round of edits if you feel it needs anything tweaked. If you have a late contribution, our team will always work to include it before final dispatch.

Can I add something other than a song? Like a story, poem or a reading?

Of course! We work with you on the creative, we love people playing instruments, singing, writing a poem or anything they feel will make their loved one feel amazing. We are here to help with every idea!

How long does it take?

We allow at least 5 working days. This is to allow all family and friends thinking time for their dedications. their voice recordings to be sent over and the perfect edit to be created.

Can I Present It?

One of our professional producers presents each podcast with a neutral but informed vocal on who each podcast is about. We aim to keep our presenter as the glue to each dedication coming up, you guys are the star of your own pod.

I want to change the lyrics to a song so has to my Mum's name in it, can we do that?

Yes! At a small surcharge we can offer a professional vocalist to workshop and record your new version of a classic song. We love the creativity of this, so give us a challenge!
